Tama the station cat

Jase brought my attention to this story on the BBC website. It is about a cat called Tama who has changed the fortunes of an electric railway in Japan. Tama is now an honorary station master and even has his own book out. I think putting cats in charge of more stations and the railway network as a whole is a fine idea indeed!
