I have a day off work today but some how ended up writing an update paper for most of the morning. It's done now though. Tomorrow we have a planning away day which is good, to be out of the office and thinking.
We had a very quiet bank holiday weekend. The rain really put an end to any plans and instead on Sunday I read for most of the day. Yesterday although the rain was still just as persistent we went to Kingston. We had hoped that if the rain cleared away we could walk along the river towards Hampton Court, but no such luck it just rained and rained and the wind blew! So we just ambled around the shops and had fish and chips at the Druids Head. I bought a couple of books, the biography of the Dalai Lama which looks at all the incarnations of the Dalai Lama by Alexander Norman. Very interesting reading it is too. I also got a book that Jase wanted called End of the World Blues by Jon Courtenay Grimwood set in Japan.
